The China International Consumer Goods Expo (referred to as the "Expo") is approved by the State Council and hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. Since 2002, the Consumer Expo has been held annually in the famous port city of Ningbo in early June, with an exhibition area of 125000 square meters and 3000 standard booths. The exhibits cover household goods, gifts, handicrafts, home appliances and electronics, home textiles and clothing, cultural and outdoor leisure products, kitchen and bathroom utensils, etc. After 20 years of cultivation, the scale, level, and effectiveness of the "Consumer Expo" have been gradually improved, forming international, professional, market-oriented, and standardized characteristics. It has been listed as one of the key exhibitions hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and has become one of the four major trade fairs for import and export commodities in China.
